QuoteMe’s service is available on the website QuoteMe.es and is a web-based service that helps private individuals, companies, sports associations, and condominium associations (“service seekers”) to find companies and freelancers (service providers) offering various craft services such as transportation, cleaning help, window cleaning, and more. Service seekers will be referred to as “SS/SS’s” and service providers as “SP/SP’s” in the following terms and conditions.
Using QuoteMe is always free for service seekers, and there is no obligation to choose any of the companies they come into contact with via QuoteMe if they do not wish to do so.

QuoteMe guarantees that only service providers connected to QuoteMe’s service are able to respond to the request. Once the service seeker and service provider have exchanged contact details, it is up to them to proceed with their procurement independently.

Service Providers
- Service Providers & Freelancers
QuoteMe is a web-based service that assists private individuals, companies, sports associations, and condominium associations (referred to as “Service Seekers”) in finding service providers in the form of companies and freelancers to fulfill various tasks such as transportation, cleaning assistance, window cleaning, painting, web design, or any other requested services. The service providers are referred to as SPs (Service Providers), and the service seekers as SSs (Service Seekers).
- Requirements
Service providers (SPs) agree to comply with applicable laws and regulations while performing services for customers and maintain a professional approach in their work. QuoteMe continuously verifies that service providers meet the basic requirements set by QuoteMe. If an SP does not meet all the basic requirements, QuoteMe reserves the right to suspend their ability to respond to requests from service seekers.
By authorizing QuoteMe to represent the service seeker, you give consent to have your and the SP’s details registered on QuoteMe’s website, allowing the service seekers to view this information. SPs should understand that QuoteMe, its partners, and the service seekers may contact them via letter, phone, email, and SMS.
- Packages & Credits
QuoteMe offers different monthly or three-month packages for SPs, which include varying amounts of “Credits.” A credit is used to send a quote to a service seeker. Once the purchased credits are depleted, SPs will be unable to respond to further requests from service seekers until new credits are purchased.
- Payment
Payment must be made in accordance with the agreed terms between SP and QuoteMe. If no specific payment terms have been agreed upon, payment should be made within 30 days of receiving the invoice. In case of late payment, late payment interest will be charged as per Spanish law.
If payment is not made on time and QuoteMe sends a reminder to the SP, QuoteMe reserves the right to charge compensation for the payment reminder.
SPs can choose the contract they want to enter into by purchasing the package that best suits their business operations. Payments are made securely through online purchases using credit/debit cards. QuoteMe does not store any credit/debit card or bank details.
- Customer Inquiries and User Contact Details
In the special agreement entered into between SP and QuoteMe, SP grants QuoteMe the authority to display their profile to service seekers interested in using SP’s services during the agreed term.
QuoteMe’s website provides SP’s contact information to service seekers who choose to respond to a quote. SPs are prohibited from selling, passing on, or in any way transferring the service seeker’s contact details to third parties. Data may not be shared with services that compete with QuoteMe. However, after engaging SP, SP may share the service seeker’s contact details with subcontractors working with SP.
- Termination of the Agreement
If SP fails to fulfill its obligations according to this agreement, including any abuse of service seeker contact details, QuoteMe reserves the right to immediately suspend the SP’s access to the service.
If connected SPs engage in actions that impair QuoteMe’s service, disclose information in violation of point 4, harm QuoteMe’s reputation, or act disloyally towards QuoteMe, QuoteMe has the right to cancel the agreement, seek damages from the SP equivalent to €2000 (Two Thousand Euros) under the General Insurance Act, or the actual amount of the damage if it exceeds that limit.
- Personal Data
7.1 Each party is obligated to comply with the EU Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable legislation regarding the protection of personal data. QuoteMe processes personal data of service seekers using QuoteMe.es and is considered the personal data controller for the SPs and service seekers.
7.2 When QuoteMe transfers a service seeker’s personal data to an SP, the SP is considered the Personal Data Controller for the service seeker’s personal data. This means that when processing service seeker’s personal data, the SP is responsible for complying with the GDPR and other applicable legislation.
7.3 To fulfill QuoteMe’s contractual obligations towards SP, the personal data provided by SP representatives when registering a user account, such as name, address, and email address, are processed. QuoteMe is considered the personal data controller for this data. More information about QuoteMe’s processing of personal data can be found in the Privacy Policy.
- Force Majeure
Both parties are exempt from penalties for failure to fulfill certain obligations under this agreement if the failure is due to extenuating circumstances of material importance. Such circumstances may include government actions or omissions, new or amended legislation, labor market conflicts, blockades, fires, floods, loss or destruction of material data or property, or major accidents. The party wishing to invoke exemption based on such circumstances must promptly notify the other party to exercise this right.
- Limitation of Liability
If the QuoteMe.es website is temporarily unavailable or cannot be fully utilized due to circumstances beyond QuoteMe’s control, such as server outages, technical malfunctions, sabotage, or other similar circumstances, SPs do not have the right to demand a price reduction on their special agreement.
QuoteMe is not a party to the business agreements entered into between service seekers and SPs. QuoteMe is not considered a legal intermediary between service seekers and SPs. Therefore, QuoteMe bears no responsibility for any disputes that may arise between service seekers and SPs, such as deficiencies in work performed, damages, errors, or non-payment.
The liability of both parties under this agreement is limited to direct damages. QuoteMe’s liability for damages is limited to an amount equal to the total compensation paid by the SP to QuoteMe during the next twelve months, up to a maximum amount corresponding to a price base amount according to Spanish law.
- Intellectual Property Rights
QuoteMe has the right to use texts, logos, images, and other materials published by SP on QuoteMe.es. However, ownership of these intellectual property rights remains with SP or its partners. Other materials, such as texts, graphics, images, and logos found on QuoteMe.es, are owned by QuoteMe and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws, including the Trademark Act. The QuoteMe.es database is protected under copyright law.
- Insolvency of a Party
If either party is declared bankrupt, initiates settlement negotiations, goes into liquidation, or is otherwise assumed to have become insolvent, the other party has the right to cancel this agreement.
- Transfer
SP may not fully or partially assign or pledge its rights and/or obligations under this agreement without written approval from QuoteMe.
- Notifications
SP must promptly notify QuoteMe of any changes to their address and contact details.
- Changes and Additions
Any amendments or additions to this agreement must be in writing and duly signed by the parties to be binding. However, QuoteMe reserves the right to change or add to these General Terms and Conditions on its own. In the event of changes, QuoteMe will provide prior notification to SP before the changes take effect. Notification may be sent via email or displayed on the SP’s user account.

- The information during the sale was misleading and did not match the SP’s needs.
- No credits were used.
- The complaint is submitted within 14 days of payment.
To file a complaint, SPs should contact QuoteMe’s customer service via phone or email, providing the request ID, customer ID, and reason for the complaint.
